THE JOURNEY TO BECOMING A CANDLE MAKER

Let me tell you a little bit about me. Having grown up in Cornwall, there was no better place to draw inspiration and let my creative passions grow organically. After an upbringing of learning and practising many different crafts & hobbies, I was always drawn by my love for home fragrance.
I started making candles, researching and learning more about the craft each day, I quickly started to realise the toxicity of home fragrance products, and the damage they do. And so in 2021, I started Seabound Candle Co., offering sustainable products with natural scents and minimal impact on the environment. And I am so pleased to introduce you to my brand. THE ART OF CANDLE MAKING
A good candle is an art form in itself. Creating scents that encourage nostalgia, to bring joy, peace, and wellbeing, is purely humbling.
To create a product that inspires your inner being, with natural and earth kind materials, knowing you can enjoy home fragrance without guilt of an environmental impact, is at the core of my creating.
An art that has taken years to master, but I am still learning every day.
Learning new methods, exploring new oils to blend, being inspired by the elements around me to create new products… it’s never a dull day.
INSPIRED BY CORNISH LIVING
Being surrounded by the sandy shores & rocky coastlines, the cobbled streets of charming fishing villages, and the fresh sea air of the Atlantic waters, a creative mind (like my own) thrives in an environment so serene.
Drawing inspiration from Cornish life, I have created a collection of scents to capture my most cherished moments and places, to share a piece of my Cornwall with you.
